The lobby of the The Battle House Hotel

MOBILE – ALABAMA

Mar 21, 2016by tracey Comments

Last week I was lucky to be invited to Mobile, Alabama with my Gratitude and Trust writing partner Paul Williams to speak at the Drug Education Council’s 20th Annual Luncheon.

But we got to grab a bit of Mobile life during the 48 hours we were there.

I love the South.  I love the hospitality.  I love the old world feel. I love how it’s steeped in history even though things went on I don’t always agree with. There is something about the South that feels totally different than anywhere else in the country.

We stayed at a hotel called  The Battle House.  It is downtown and has just gone through a major renovation. It started life as Andrew Jackson’s headquarters in 1812.
