Yesterday was one of the more chaotic days of the year in New York, it was St. Patrick's Day. Once the weather starts getting nice the parade season starts. The two that really turn the city upside down are St. Patrick's Day and Puerto Rican Day. The crowds, the revelry, shall we say, and the partying go on from dusk til dawn and then on from there.
When I was walking over to the gym at nine the crowds were starting to form, the beers were being popped open and the fun had begun.
KISS ME I’M DRUNK – I MEAN I’M IRISH

When I was walking over to the gym at nine the crowds were starting to form, the beers were being popped open and the fun had begun.
By the time we hit the streets at one the day was in full Irish, green, kiss me, pour me another, the families all here, let’s have another, meet me at the pub after the last float mood.
To be fair not all people are drinking and not all Irish drink. I only saw two people passed out on the street. One guy called Rusty, I only know that as one of his friends said, “Oh, don’t worry about ole Rusty he will be up in a minute.” I had my doubts.
But it is a family day and the kids are out, and the babies are out and it’s just one of those days when it’s easy being green, it’ s just not easy getting around town.
