REAL WOMEN DON’T WEAR LEATHER BUSTIERS WITH TAFFETA SKIRTS
Despite the fact it’s still in the eighties and we have two more weeks of summer, everyone is pretty much thinking fall, or at least the stores and media are making sure we do. It’s that time of year when the magazines all weigh in at ninety pounds. I spent an hour trying to wade through Vogue today, and as always, unless you weigh eighteen pounds and don’t have to walk anywhere or carry anything or happen to have a hundred thousand to spare on your fall wardrobe there is pretty much nothing for you.
I was figuring many of you spent yesterday cleaning those closets and getting rid of the things you didn’t wear; so in light of that and well, okay, the fact that I did it too; I made my way down to one of my favorite stores, Debbie Rudoy’s Lifestyle, to get some ideas on what people might be wearing this fall.
I took my handy dandy flipcam which as you can tell I’m still mastering and did a little video about what real women with real lives will be wearing when the season officially changes
