WHEN YOU ARE WRONG YOU ARE WRONG

I don’t normally blog on Sundays but I want to send out small one today to make right on something that I did in last Thursday’s blog.

I would like to formally and publicly apologize to David Patrick Columbia for making an unkind  remark about him.

It was totally uncalled for.  The reason I did it was silly, childish and has nothing whatsoever to do with him.

I have only met him once in passing. He has never done anything to me and all of my friends who are friends of his say he is a lovely man.

So he did certainly not deserve me at my worst. I regret having done it and I am truly sorry.

The cynics out there are going to say “Oh she’s only doing it as she wants in his column” Nothing could be further from the truth, I have gotten more press of late than I want.  When you’re you’re wrong and I was wrong. And I feel it important to say so.

I confess to getting THE NEW YORK SOCIAL DIARY and I only try not read it daily as I often find myself getting sucked into the vortex of the glossy pictures and events and a half hour has passed and I have gotten no work done.

But it’s a guilty pleasure and one I do enjoy.

I also know it gives many people pleasure in getting to see and experience events and places they normally would not.

But I’m not even plugging here. Just a sincere sorry to someone I was unkind to.

It’s the end of a glorious weekend here in New York. I hope all of you wherever you are enjoyed it as much as we did and have a great week.
